Why are my tours and images not showing up on the server?
- Please reconfirm the connection status between RICOH THETA and your smartphone.
- Is the camera’s wireless function turned on? (Wireless lamp lit)
- It may be possible to connect by switching the camera’s Wi-Fi button off and then back to on, and repeating the connection process.
- You can also try to swipe down on your screen on the Tour listing screen to re-activate the sync process
- Try to power off your phone, power back on, then swipe down in the app to re-sync
If that does not work, you may not be able to connect for the following reasons:
- You may be connected to another nearby device. Turn off Wi-Fi connections to other devices and switch the camera’s wireless button to off and then back to on.
- There may be electromagnetic interference from a microwave oven, 2.4 GHz band cordless phone, indoor wireless LAN device, or other device.
- The Wi-Fi connection may have disconnected for some reason. Configure the Wi-Fi settings again from the settings screen.
If you are still unable to connect, please try updating the firmware of THETA.

Why is my RICOH THETA not connecting to the mobile app?
Please check the following.
- Is the camera’s wireless function turned on? (Wireless lamp is lit)
- You may be connected to another nearby device. Turn off Wi-Fi connections to other devices and switch the camera’s wireless button to off and then back to on.
- There may be electromagnetic interference from a microwave oven, 2.4 GHz band cordless phone, indoor wireless LAN device, or other device.
- The Wi-Fi connection may have disconnected for some reason. Configure the Wi-Fi settings again from the settings screen.
It may be possible to connect by switching the camera’s Wi-Fi button off and then back to on, and repeating the connection process.
If it still does not connect, tap THETA****** displayed in the Wi-Fi settings screen, disconnect/delete the network, and try the connection procedures again from the beginning.
What cameras are supported for the RICOH360 Tours app?
Currently you can use your iPhone/iPad camera, Android camera and a RICOH THETA models S, SC, SC2, V, Z1 and X. However, the photos from your iPhone/iPad or Android camera's will not be 360 photos.
How do I create a tour?
Prepare a supported camera as described above. Then create your tour as described in Creating a tour on iPhone/iPad using a RICOH THETA or Creating a tour on Android using a RICOH THETA.
How do I preview a tour that I just created?
To view a tour created with the mobile app, please follow the steps below.
- Launch the mobile app
- Tap , then select a tour
- Tap the lower right corner of the screen
To view your tour on the web app
- Log in to app.ricoh360.com and launch the management console
- Click on the upper right corner of the screen

If you would like to share your tour using the Web App, please refer to Sharing a tour.
Why am I unable to view my tour with the tour link?
This may be due to the fact that the tour is Inactive, or your subscription or trial has lapsed.
Start the mobile app and tap . If the target tour is in the list name Inactive at the top of the screen, the tour is set to Inactive.
To make the tour public, please follow the instructions below.
- Tap in the upper right corner to open the menu
- Tap Active Tour
- Tap OK when the confirmation screen for publishing the tour opens
To make the tour public or private in the web app
- Log in to app.ricoh360.com and launch the management console
- Select a tour from the list of tours
- Click the toggle to make the tour Inactive/Active in the upper of the screen
