Adding Photos

Now that you have created a tour, you can continue to add images from the RICOH THETA, your camera library or your mobile camera. If this is the first time using the RICOH360 Tours application you might want to follow the step-by-step article found here.

RICOH THETA

  1. If you have not yet downloaded the RICOH360 Tours app, do so now: (iOS: click here, Android: click here)
  2. Launch the RICOH360 Tours app
  3. Sign up here if you don't yet have an account otherwise, log into the mobile app
  4. Tap on hc_tours_icon_tours_en.png
  5. Select the tour to which you wish to add a photo and tap Add Photo at the bottom of the screen,or create a new one.
  6. If you have not yet registered your THETA camera in the RICOH360 Tours app, please use the steps in this article: Registering your THETA
  7. Tap hc_tours_icon_ricohtheta_en.png
  8. Tap the serial number of the RICOH THETA you want to connect in the Registered a THETA
  9. Press the power button on the camera to turn it on
  10. Press the wireless button on the camera to turn on the wireless
  11. Press the Connect button
  12. When the connection dialog box appears, tap OK, Connect, etc.
    *Once the mobile device is connected to RICOH THETA, steps 6 to 8 are not necessary until the connection is broken.
  13. Transition to shooting mode

  14. Tap tours_mobile_icon_setting.png in the upper right corner of the screen to open the screen for selecting [HDR] ON/OFF and [AUTO WB] High/Low.
    *[AUTO WB] is displayed only when Z1, SC2, SC2 for business is connected.

    Once selected, the setting is retained in the application and will be applied the next time the camera is used.
    *Default setting： [HDR] ON,  [AUTO WB] High
  15. Tap tours_mobile_sutter.png to take your photo
  16. Type in the label that describes the photo or select one from the list
  17. Tap Done


Mobile Camera

  1. Launch the RICOH360 Tours app
  2. Sign up here if you don't yet have an account otherwise, log into the mobile app
  3. Tap on hc_tours_icon_tours_en.png
  4. Select the Tour you would like to add photos to or create a new one
  5. Tap +Add photo
  6. Tap hc_tours_icon_camera_en.pngto use the camera on your mobile device
  7. If requested, tap OK to allow RICOH360 Tours to access your camera
  8. Press the shutter button tours_mobile_sutter.png to take your photo
  9. Tap Use Photo
  10. Type in the label that describes the photo or select from the list of pre-defined room names
  11. Tap Done 


Photo Gallery

  1. Launch the RICOH360 Tours app
  2. Sign up here if you don't yet have an account otherwise, log into the mobile app
  3. Tap onhc_tours_icon_tours_en.png 
  4. Select the Tour you would like to add photos to or create a new one
  5. Tap +Add photo
  6. Tap hc_tours_icon_library_en.png to select photos from your photo library
    * Please note that you may need to wait a few minutes depending on the amount of data in your library (album).
  7. Select the photo you would like to use
    * Multiple images can be selected
  8. Tap Done 


RICOH360 Cloud

The plug-in MUST be installed for your team to use RICOH360 Cloud. For information on registering for RICOH360 Cloud, please see this article: Registering for RICOH360 Cloud

  1. Launch the RICOH360 Tours app
  2. Sign up here if you don't yet have an account otherwise, log into the mobile app
  3. Tap on hc_tours_icon_tours_en.png
  4. Select the Tour you would like to add photos to or create a new one
  5. Tap +Add photo
  6. Tap hc_tours_icon_cloudsync_en.jpg
  7. Select the photo you would like to use
  8. Tap Add Next Photo or Done
