Before using the mobile app please follow the instructions below to register your THETA.
Registering your RICOH THETA camera
It is recommended that you always use the latest version of the RICOH THETA firmware.
For instructions on how to check and update the firmware, please refer to the instruction manual at the link below.

*Make sure that your RICOH THETA is fully charged.
Note: If a dialog box appears during the registration or shooting steps below asking for permission to connect to a photo, network or location services, click OK. This is necessary for the RICOH360 Tours app to work properly.
- Log in to the RICOH360 Tours mobile app.
- Tap "
" at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap Register THETA.
- Select the THETA model you want to register.
- Press the power button on the THETA to turn it on
The steps below vary depending on the model other than THETA X.
◆For models other than RICOH THETA X
- Press the wireless button on the THETA to turn on the wireless function (the wireless light will flash)
- Enter the serial number and password, then tap Next.
- Tap Register.
- When the connection dialog box appears, tap OK or Connect.
- When the dialog box indicating that the connection with THETA is complete appears, tap OK.
This completes the THETA registration and you will be taken to the shooting mode.
◆RICOH THETA X
- Press the wireless button on the THETA to turn on the wireless function
*Swipe down from the top of the display panel and tap the wireless icon in the upper left corner. - Tap Register. The connection procedure screen will open.
- Swipe from right to left on the screen. On the last page, tap Register.
- When the connection dialog box appears, tap OK or Connect .
This completes the THETA registration and the camera will switch to shooting mode.
